Limescale deposits in kettle
Limescale deposits in the kettle are very annoying and cause limescale residues in your tea water. But can you actually do something about this?? You can prevent limescale deposits in your kettle with the following tips.
Clean the kettle regularly
If lime does not have a chance to adhere to the inside, your kettle will remain free of limescale. By regularly cleaning the kettle you prevent limescale from building up. How often you have to do this depends on the amount of use of the kettle. If you use it often, you will also have to clean it more often.
Store dry
If you rarely use the kettle, it is a good idea to dry it inside and out before putting it away. This way, no layer of water remains in it and there is no chance of limescale deposits.
Prevent limescale in the kettle
Cleaning partly helps prevent limescale deposits in the kettle. With an anti-limescale system you can ensure that no limescale particles end up in your kettle. The Amfa4000® ensures that hard algonite, which you know as limestone, no longer forms. This anti-limescale system does not remove the minerals calcium and magnesium from the water, but changes the crystal structure so that they no longer precipitate. This is good for your water supply, energy bill and your tea water!
