Most frequently asked questions about the Amfa4000

Can the Amfa4000 be installed in damp areas??

The Amfa4000 is waterproof and is designed to work in damp areas. The Amfa4000 can even be installed in houses where there is water in the crawl space. It won't hurt if the Amfa4000 gets flooded.

How long is my warranty?

The Amfa4000® is made of high-quality materials, which means that it will last a lifetime under most conditions and is maintenance-free. If something is wrong with the Amfa4000, you also have a 10-year warranty. In addition, we offer a 100-day "money back" guarantee, so that you can try the Amfa4000 yourself without risk.

Is the Amfa4000 suitable for my type of water pipe??

The Amfa4000 can be installed on any type of water pipe and therefore always. Both on PVC, copper, flexible pipe and (galvanized) steel.

How does the Amfa4000 work?

With an enormous force of 1600 Gauss, the magnetic fields ensure that Calcium and Magnesium do not crystallize into a hard deposit as normal. The Amfa4000® does not remove these minerals from the water, but suppresses the negative effects so that they no longer precipitate. The lime remains in the water but no longer adheres to your equipment and pipes. Read more here about the influence of the number of Gauss in water softeners.

Can I just put a strong magnet on the water pipe?

A lot of research has been done into the correct arrangement of the magnetic fields in the Amfa4000. Not only the strength of the "water softener magnets", but the correct angle and positions of the magnets determine the effectiveness of the water descaler. With an enormous force of 1600 Gauss, the magnetic fields ensure that Calcium and Magnesium do not crystallize. This creates a powerful and small anti-limescale system that can be installed in small spaces without difficult interventions on the pipes.

Amfa4000 installation: How much space do I need?

Due to the small dimensions, a free space of only 8cm along the length of the tube is sufficient to mount the Amfa4000. The water pipe is often close to the wall. No problem! We have solved this with smart technology. You don't even need 5mm of space between the pipe and the wall

What are the annual costs?

None! The Amfa4000 is a one-time investment. So you are not tied to an expensive maintenance contract. You will quickly earn your Amfa4000 back. and enjoy delicious water without any worries

I see results immediately?

Existing limescale in the water pipes dissolves thanks to the Amfa4000. That's why it takes a while before you see optimal results. How long this takes is partly determined by the water hardness and how old the water pipes are. We therefore always use the guideline that you will definitely see results after a number of weeks, but that results will be optimal after 6 weeks.

What diameter water pipe is the Amfa4000 suitable for??

A diameter of 12mm to 42mm. The Amfa4000 is therefore suitable for any type of pipe diameter in the home.

Can I install the Amfa4000 vertically?

No problem, the Amfa4000 can be installed both vertically and horizontally.

The Amfa4000 is mounted around the water pipe. Where is the lime?

With an enormous force of 1600 Gauss, the magnetic fields ensure that Calcium and Magnesium do not crystallize. The Amfa4000® does not remove these minerals from the water, but suppresses the negative effects so that they no longer precipitate. The lime therefore remains dissolved in the water. However, it no longer adheres to the water pipes and equipment, so you no longer suffer from limescale.

What will be the water hardness after installation of the Amfa4000?

The water hardness remains the same. The lime is not removed from the water. The Amfa4000 ensures that the lime no longer precipitates. The result is no longer annoying limescale deposits. Protection of your equipment and significant annual savings on costs due to limescale damage.

How often should I perform maintenance?

Not! The Amfa4000 is maintenance-free. No hassle and hassle with salting
