Limescale faucet

Taps are meant to let water flow, which is exactly what causes limescale: water droplets that dry up and leave behind limescale particles. A light layer of limescale is not pretty and can easily be cleaned away, but isn't it better to prevent limescale from forming on your taps altogether? Read here how you can keep your taps limescale-free.

Clean taps regularly

Polish, polish, polish. You prevent limescale build-up by cleaning often. For this you certainly use a cleaning agent that prevents limescale deposits every week.

Dry in between

Always dry your taps with a microfibre cloth after use. This way, no drops will remain and your taps will continue to shine. Also think about the base of the tap: the place where water often remains is on the sink. With shower taps, it is wise to also dry the shower rod and the shower hose. If these are chrome-plated, limescale deposits are immediately visible.

Prevent limescale with an anti-limescale system

What a job, huh, such a shiny tap? That can be easier: with the Amfa4000® anti-scale system. This anti-scale system treats the water in such a way that lime remains in the water and does not stick to taps, tiles or glasses. Cleaning becomes easier and keeping it dry is no longer necessary. Soften your water at low cost and in a simple way with the Amfa4000® . Limescale-free taps are a breeze!
