Julio Rosier: “My father was very creative and had two right hands. He was always busy coming up with practical solutions for the home. He also came up with the idea of developing a device that prevents limescale deposits in appliances, pipes and sanitary facilities.” The Amfa was developed in the 1980s. Julio Rosier was still a teenager at the time. Together with his brother he promoted the Amfa. Leaflets were printed and together they delivered these leaflets in the village. “We received some attention, but we did not yet achieve national fame.”
More awareness for the Amfa4000
As Julio Rosier grew older and became more involved in the company, the Amfa became more famous. “I focused on marketing and it paid off. We gained more fame, which also gave us the opportunity to improve the Amfa. We developed the Amfa4000, the improved version of the Amfa.” At that time, Julio Rosier was studying Business Informatics. With that knowledge he was able to build a website for the Amfa4000 and focus on online marketing. “I ensured that the website appeared at the top of Google search results. This enabled us to acquire a large proportion of our customers. That is still the case now.”
Television is an important marketing channel
The fame that the Amfa4000 has acquired in recent years is not only due to online marketing. Television is also an important marketing channel for the anti-limescale system. “At one point I was asked to promote the Amfa4000 on television. At first I didn't feel the need for that, even when I was asked a second time. But when I was asked a third time, I thought: why not? Can we at least mention on our website that we are known from television.” For example, Julio Rosier appeared in various residential programs to present the Amfa4000. And it turned out to be a good choice, because the Amfa4000 achieved even more brand awareness and sales of the anti-limescale system increased. “Because we now have a good share of the Dutch market, we will soon also enter the Belgian market. I will also present the Amfa4000 there in a lifestyle program.”
Daily activities of Julio Rosier
Julio Rosier's daily work mainly consists of managing the organization. Five people work in the organization, including Julio Rosier's brother and mother. “Everyone is responsible for their own division within the organization, but we also outsource a large part of the work to external parties, such as marketing, logistics and web management.” Julio Rosier is also the face of the Amfa4000. He regularly appears in various programs in the Netherlands and Belgium to present the Amfa4000.
