There are also cheaper water softeners, these systems work with a strong magnet and you can install them yourself. These guarantee up to 95% lime-free water and cost between €200 and €600. We offer both versions, so you can make the right choice based on your needs.

This system delivers excellent performance, with 100% soft water thanks to the two tanks and a compact design that can be placed in small spaces. Price of anti-limescale magnet Amfa4000

The other product we sell to combat limescale is the Amfa4000®. This is an anti-limescale system that is placed around the pipes. It prevents the accumulation and retention of lime. The Amfa4000® is suitable for any home, whether it is a detached house, a semi-detached house, a flat, an apartment, a houseboat or even a boat. The price of the Amfa4000® is a one-time price of €159.  

Water softener installation costs 

The price for installing water softeners can vary. Water softeners are generally large installations and therefore in most cases must be installed by a professional. However, the anti-limescale magnet is easy to install yourself. This can be installed on water pipes up to 50 mm and on all types of material and types of water pipes. The anti-limescale magnet can be installed both vertically and horizontally, we recommend that you place it close to the water meter. The anti-limescale magnet is completely maintenance-free, so you no longer have to worry about it.

In addition, the softening salt will have to be replenished periodically, which entails maintenance costs. Our Amfa4000® works on the basis of a powerful magnet, which you can easily install yourself. You do not have to take into account any additional service or maintenance costs.

How much does salt cost for water softener

Our Amfa8000 Max is a salt-based water softener, for optimal operation the salt must be replenished periodically. The device has a salt reservoir that can be filled with 2 x 4 kg salt blocks or 7 kg salt tablets. It is important to know that only pure salt should be used and not table salt, as this is not pure enough. The stock of salt can easily be replenished yourself without the need for a technician. The cost of salt for the water softener is on average between 15 and 25 euros for a 25 kg bag.
